Profile
William “Billy” Smith has four decades of railroad experience with Penn Central, Conrail, Amtrak and SEPTA. When Mr. Smith suffered a career-ending injury in 2011, he hired William Myers, who secured a large settlement for him. Billy now works with The Myers Firm as a legal investigator, helping the firm represent our other clients.
In Bill’s words, “My own career-ending injury taught me the importance of hiring an attorney with experience handling railroad cases. Working with The Myers Firm has allowed me to keep in contact with railroaders I’ve known for forty years and to fight for them when they get hurt.”
Bill graduated from John Bartram High School in 1971 and now resides in South Jersey with his wife. Bill is a volunteer for the Coaches v. Cancer campaign, and volunteers for the Red Cross as an event photographer. He is also the lead singer for The Jive Bombers, a classic rock band.
